Enjini Auto (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). This policy explains what information we collect when you use enjiniauto.co.za, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.
Who we are
Enjini Auto supplies used and new engines, gearboxes, cylinder heads, wheel rims and workshop tool boxes, shipped across South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe and Botswana. You can reach us at info@enjiniauto.co.za. For the purposes of POPIA, Enjini Auto is the responsible party for the personal information described below.
Information we collect
- Order and account information: name, email address, phone number, delivery address, and billing address, collected when you place an order or create an account.
- Order details: the products you purchase, order value, and payment reference. We do not collect or store your bank card or full banking details — payment is made by direct bank transfer (EFT) using the order reference we provide.
- Communications: messages you send us via the contact form, email or WhatsApp, including any vehicle or fitment details you share with us.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, and pages visited, collected automatically via cookies and analytics tools (see Cookies below).
How we use your information
- To process and fulfil your order, including arranging courier delivery
- To communicate with you about your order, warranty claims, or support queries
- To confirm fitment details for the part you are ordering
- To meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations
- To improve our website and product range, using aggregated, non-identifying analytics
Who we share it with
We share the minimum information necessary with: courier and freight partners, to deliver your order; our website hosting provider; and analytics providers (such as Google) used to understand site traffic. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Our site uses cookies required for the shopping cart and checkout to function, and analytics cookies to help us understand how the site is used. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect your ability to place an order.
How long we keep your information
We retain order and account information for as long as needed to fulfil your order, meet our tax and accounting record-keeping obligations, and handle any warranty claim. You can ask us to delete information we are not legally required to keep.
Your rights under POPIA
You have the right to ask us what personal information we hold about you, to request that we correct or delete it, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, email info@enjiniauto.co.za. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
