Warranty on Used Engines, Gearboxes & Parts
Every used engine, gearbox, cylinder head and part sold by Enjini Auto is inspected and function-tested before listing. We back that inspection with a standard warranty on eligible parts, giving you peace of mind on a used component.
What is covered
- Mechanical defects present at the time of sale that are not disclosed on the listing
- Internal failure of the core unit (engine block, gearbox casing) under normal operating conditions
- Parts that do not match the description or fitment stated on the product page
What is not covered
- Damage caused by incorrect installation, fitment by an unqualified technician, or use of the wrong ancillary parts
- Wear and tear on consumable items (seals, gaskets, belts) beyond the initial fitment
- Damage from accidents, flooding, overheating after purchase, or lack of servicing
- Electrical or software faults unrelated to the mechanical part supplied
Warranty period
Standard warranty terms vary by part type and are stated on each individual product listing at the time of purchase. If no period is stated, contact us before buying and we will confirm it in writing.
How to claim
Contact us at info@enjiniauto.co.za with your order number, a description of the fault, and (where possible) photos or a video. We may require the part to be inspected by us or an approved workshop before a claim is approved. This warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act.
